Ingredients
  1. 4 eggs
  2. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  3. 1 litre milk
  4. 3 tablespoons sugar
  5. 5 tablespoons short-grain rice
  6. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 150ºC.
  2. Beat the eggs, vanilla, milk and sugar together. Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle in the rice.
  3. Sprinkle the nutmeg over the egg mixture.
  4. Bake for 1 1/2 - 2 hours in the preheated oven.
  5. Serve - with steamed or poached fruit as optional.
