Kiwis of all ages are now reducing their meat consumption for better health and wellness.
Research reports that 1:3 kiwis want to reduce their red meat consumption, but they don’t want to compromise on taste, ease and simplicity, or use fussy/odd ingredients.
NIci Wickes, Former NZWW Food Editor has created a new collection of easy meat-free recipes to provide inspiration for anyone wanting to reduce their meat consumption in their weekly meal plans. She says “If you’re like me and trying to eat less meat in any busy week, then these new recipes are just for you”.
“When creating these new recipes I had New Zealand home cooks in mind, making sure the ingredients were mainly every-day pantry items and ensuring there was plenty of options that are super quick to make. Each one is appetising, filling, packed full of protein, goodness and plenty of scrumptiousness for everyday meals” says Nici.
