Ingredients
4 4 eggs
1 cup 1 Turkish (or Greek) yoghurt
2 cloves 2 garlic, minced
2 tbsp 2 olive oil
1 tsp 1 ground cumin
1 tsp 1 smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Red Chilli pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
Directions
- In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Reduce the heat to low, add the yoghurt, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well until the mixture is heated through.
- In a separate pot, poach the eggs to your liking.
- Place the poached eggs on top of the creamy garlic yogurt mixture.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and chilli pepper flakes if you desire.
- Serve immediately with some warm crusty bread.
