Ingredients

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup Turkish (or Greek) yoghurt

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Red Chilli pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

Directions

  • In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Reduce the heat to low, add the yoghurt, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well until the mixture is heated through.
  • In a separate pot, poach the eggs to your liking.
  • Place the poached eggs on top of the creamy garlic yogurt mixture.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and chilli pepper flakes if you desire.
  • Serve immediately with some warm crusty bread.
